Ah you mad lad.
This is such an incredibly funny piece to me because of the context of Olympia, and it's controversy in it's own time, and it feels like it's drawing lines from that to modern day sex worker rights issues, all while being an amazing shit post in modern meme standards.
Also deeply respect/enjoy how well you got the charcoal to work for you, and what you choose to have detailed, like the icons and more abstract in natural curves.
Thank you for making this.

Absolutely!
I always appreciate your insight and kind words. Thank you :D

Great kicks
I adore the contrast of the greenish/yellowish blue of her clothes/hair//complexion and how you made her pop from the orange/reddish purples of the chair and back ground, it makes the spotlight effect glimmer quite nicely.
Also love the choices of high details used sparingly allowing for an eye catching spar between cartoony and realism.
thank you for making this.

ChipsGoWOAH responds:

your description is very generous lol, i appreciate it, the character was completely blue and simple so i figured itd be best to play with the colors and lighting to make it interesting, glad people liked it

Really great work.
I appreciate how detailed an thoughtful you where in this design, both is sticking to the megaman design bible, but also placing your own touches on the hair and accessories and having it come out so uniform and seemingly true to the setting.
I also appreciate the bio, but considering the connection to video game you might have been able to get a way with having a text box relay some of that in the pieces, like Dr. Light Dev log, or an observation diary.
Over all, very cute and cool and now I want to listen to the Protomen.
Thank you for making this

Thank you for commenting! I love Mega Man art style, so it makes me glad I could make her look like she was part of the game. :D
That's a good idea, I wish I'd have done that. I might try something like that next time. ^^
I'm glad you enjoy it! I appreciate the points and suggestions you made, it was nice.
And thanks for the music suggestion! I've heard of them, but hadn't listened to their songs yet. I'll definitely check it out now.

Hello and welcome!
I enjoy your blending of stylized and photo realistic motifs in your work, along with the obvious humor you approach your work with.
I really like the strong shadow in this piece, but also the comic dots are smartly old school, and contrast with the shadows and make your OC and speech bubble pop!
Thank you for making this, and again, welcome.

ep7w7 responds:

honestly this is the best review i have ever received on my art, i greatly appreciate all the points you made, it really encourages me, thank you very much!!!

This has odd vibe to it.
With on side being blues and purples and the other more red and oranges it reminds me a little bit of the "did you drop the gold ax or the silver ax" proverb.
In any case your work on the lighting is great, both in the details of how you cast the shadows and the over all tone of the piece.
Thank you for making this
(Edit, oh it spooky, but I felt that was not needing comment)

ScotchMints responds:

thank u, i was going for a spookier vibe tbh

Interesting
It's fun seeing some Cutie Hunny/Salior Moon style on Dark Magician Girl.
I have been enjoying seeing you play around with the CRT style in a few pieces, and like the way you captured the head on poise she takes here, and as always you know how to make the eyes do a lot of work in a piece.
Thank you for making this

Thank UuUu so much, I really appreciate ur review ✌️♥️ very glad U like

amazing mood,
It's an interesting contrast to have the more abstract beach, sea and sky, then motion blurred, with fox unobscured.
It's feels like a moment of deep thought, about to be broken.
I can't tell if this is early morning light, or deep evening, but I like the light level choice.
Thank you for making this.

Toonar-XII responds:

i'm very flattered.

Hmmmmm.
I like the way you use your work to muddle the boundaries of wholesome humanity and body horror.
It's interesting seeing what might seem monstrous find it's own slice of normal, in the tans and browns.
The cross hatching also work well as a filler because of the implied darkness/dirtiness they place.
Thank you for making this.

ScribbltyHibblty responds:

Thank you! Whenever I make a creature I try to add some touch of humanity to it, and it fills me with joy whenever people pick up on it :)

Corgi!
They certainly have a fae touched aspect to them.
It looks you did a very soft initial pallet then put a very nice watercolor like shade filter with some floral patterns, and it all quite neat.
Thank you for making this.

DantonSlip responds:

Hi! I don't put a watercolor filter on it. I just setted up a brush to have approvimatively the same feeling. :) Thanks for your feedback!

How lovely.
I like the use of cloth for the jewel in the forehead, but do you suppose a button would work?
also the head fins are quite well made, did you use a certain stick to do the ribbing?
Thank you for making this.

CutePencilCase responds:

I guess you could use a button, but fleece is soft and i can make it round, a button or embroydery there would be less soft and be flat
the ribbing on the fins are just a line of zigzag stitches, no sticks
