wow
Your use of a sun set color pallet really give this a beautiful cloud like quality, especially with the puff and fuzz of how you laid out the paint and light and shadows.
It reminds me a little bit of a picture of Tianzi Mountain with clouds passing by, and also of monet's woman with a parasol*.
I also like the detail work on her fingers, and they way you cast her eyes.
Thank you for making this.

Appreciate the well worded observational comment. While it was not exactly Monet who was in my mind during this(It was Richard Schmid), I was trying to translate a traditional painting technique to digital, in which it involves staining the canvas with a warm color and then building layers of paint on top of that while still letting some of the stained canvas color show and interact with the rest of the colors. I'm actually amazed you picked up on it.

Nice chibi!
I like your use of negative space to make her look even smaller in context.
Also I like how simple you kept the pallet, and skewed it a little yellow.
Thank you for making this.

RokerRabbit40 responds:

Thank You!✌️

I like the noncommittal bard vibes.
The spot light effect is cool, and i like the way you rendered the shadows.
The outfit and hair cut give a nice sense of relaxed sophistication, like the popped collar and pinkie out sword grip.
Thank you for making this.

Thanks to you for reviewing it!

Diabolically Adorable.
It's very fun to see such iconic characters doing something so benign, and the snuggle vibes are strong.
Also I like how the her gorgeous hair has a similar visual texture to his horns, and the red sketch lines under the striking black work really well.
Thank you for making this.

Thank you so much for enjoying it! 💙💙💙

Nice
I like the very technical approach you took to the character's design/layout, it gives it some real mecha vibes.
The dramatic smoke is also a simple but very nice framing tool that suits the character nicely.
Thanks you for making this.

Thank you for your thoughtful response!

Candy coated chaos!
I think the use of the hetero chromia in the eyes is very clever as it add to the chaos but also allows them to have a more candy like quality.
I really like the way you established implied motion with the splay of the hair, the semi athletic pose of the arms, and the giant lolipops candy coated chem trail.
Thank you for making this.

Ortani responds:

Thank you so much for your comment! I'm really happy that you like it :D

Incredibly raw.
I really like how frenetic this piece is, with it's jagged letters and stray ink smudges, which give a real sense of the nervous energy and filth in any fly.
It comes close to a Rorschach test but is almost more ambiguous in it's clear intention.
Thank you for making this.

VictoransXD responds:

Thank you for your detailed feedback! I really appreciate it, yeah it's kind of what i tried to achieve with this piece, a form of certain uncertainty

Your right, even thought the gif is quite good, it does not carry the same motion as the original.
I really appreciate your work, and I think your idle landscapes are truly devoid of inhabitants, but still seemingly so full of character.
I would be interested to know how you choose a shot, or place, whether they are collage of the things you have seen or based on the real world more directly.
Thank you for making this.

aleha84 responds:

original animation has 60fps and more rich palette. All of this was lost because of reducing to gif format ((
Before I start creating a scene, I'm looking for a reference photo that touches my soul.

oooh, interesting.
I am not sure I have seen that kind of combination of inquisitiveness and befuddlement on Mei before, but it really works with the character, and her focused pupils.
Again, thank you for taking my suggestion, and;
Thank you for making this.
(edit; is the third pic from interstella 5555? I actually thought it was macross, yamato, or captain harlock, but I am guess it might be something a little harder faster stronger.)

RokerRabbit40 responds:

Thank uuU! I'm so glad u like these drawings ♥️ U're right! XD it's from interstella 5555
Really love doing this XD

Dino all the way down.
I like the back and forth weave of raptors, put out of curiosity, would you say to read the piece from top to bottom or bottom to top?
It's a a fun piece to poke around visually in any case, and i like the water color style yous use for the background, it is simple, but on pallet and is neat framing that make the whole thing pop.
Finally nice work on the bone structure of the skulls, it feels like you put some real thought in there, and I would love to see your take on a epic fantasy style dragon.
Thank you for making this.

produde123 responds:

thank you! I'd say I would read it from bottom to top since that's kinda the order of progression in the game, the dinos get progressively dangerous and harder to kill/tame :3
