A respectable lack of context.
I like the almost collage like style you went for in this, and how it helps build a sense of chaos.
Thank you for making this.

Whoa, I didn't expect it but thank you very much for the thought out review

Ooooooh dear.
This might be an odd comparison but the different placements of the eyes reminds me of watching super slow mow of birds flapping their wings in long swinging arch with different angles and pitch to catch the air, so the fact the figure has wings as well compliments that for me nicely.
The intensity of the eyes is certainly a centerpiece here, and the iris remind me of static on a red screen, whit a lurking intensity enhanced further by the mess of blood on their chin and the ghastly treat they raise towards their maw.
Finally the muted pallet other than the eyes is an nice trick to catch the eye.
Thank you for making this.

Ang3lteeth responds:

Very interesting insight :0

interesting.
I like the detail you put into detailing the form of the midriff, and the way you handled the skew of anatomy withing the odd perspective.
I also like how her shoes and elbow bleed out of the orange, and simple but striking facial expression, great work on aligning the eye angles as well.
I would say a little more detail on the hair would possibly be warranted, but I can see how keeping it simple help the piece from being to busy.
Thank you for making this.

papyapa responds:

Thanks for the detailed review. Now I know exactly what to work on.

Sometimes it be like that.
I like the way you rendered the snow on the ground as being so patchy and ill-tended, as it adds to the overall sense of neglect in the piece, like the still active smokestacks in the pitch of night in the background.
Little details like the still alight butt, the piercings catching the light, and the wisps of outward smoke and breath all help to highlight a small and bitter moment.
Thank you for making this.

chocoholicmonkey responds:

Thank you for such feedback!

Adorable.
I feel like there was a chance to drape the the light across spread arms/wings, but that might bleed too far in iconography, and I am not ready for the velocerapture.
I suppose another possibility would be to have the chin on the ground facing head on and the tail up in a way that makes a triage shape to look like a tree, but that might be too close to the jacko pose and would take away from the innocence of the piece.
In regards to what you actually did do, sorry for meandering there, i love the soft sketch of the color pencil, it gives a sense of fuzz and warmth, and the blue accent feathers against the orange are quite fetching.
Also I like the minimalist viney spiral of the lights, and the shadow work on the scarf is subtle but sells it.
Thank you for making this.

CutePencilCase responds:

Thank you! Making it look like a christmas tree would have been an awesome idea! I didn't think of that
For this set of drawings I tried to keep the poses super simple, I used soft pastels as a base, I hadn't used them in a while, but I remembered they are kinda difficult to control
I'm so glad you like how it looks ^^

ooooooo~
I like how hard you went with the sprinkle motif, on the shirt and hair, and even the braces.
I also like the choice of the purple background, and the light shadow effects upon it, it makes a nice sense of space.
Thank you for making this.

gatekid3 responds:

Thank you for saying that.

fun fact. i actually hate sprinkles

hmmm, nice.
A little more cocky than how the character was shown in the movie, but I definitely saw Olivia Wilde strike that kinda mean mug in house more than once.
The particle effect really add a lot, and I think your choices with light and shadow in this one in general where quite apt.
Thank you for making this.

snailshu responds:

Thank you for the feedback!

idk, but it makes me happy.
The color shift is quite fun, and a bit mesmerizing.
Over all is an interesting take on stretch motion and is a solid loop.
Thank you for making this.

kumiikkoo responds:

Woah tysm!

Adorbs.
I like how round a poofy you made everything, and the slightly more lolipop style of the pupil, less jagged and more uniform, than the original.
Thank you for making this.

krilley responds:

thank u! :)

Hah.
I like this alot, and i love the labored crosshatching on all the surrounding object in their void with the lack of such making the characters pop out, in a way more real, or just unnatural to their surrounding.
Also the complexity and richness of the surroundings color compared to the simple and internally consistent color in the characters must have taken a lot of work that I can't help but admire.
Thank you for making this.

dogmuth-behedog responds:

Thank you so much for the comment. :D!!
The crosshatching of the leafs was the hard part, giving color is easy because the crosshatching gives more value, im fan of the detail and non detail contrast, its a good practice to show better the characters.
