You seem to like to play with some very interesting ideas.
I wonder If you Rubyx character face would change if they had mixed emotions, or if the mix of emotions of the back of their head was their subconscious.
This a cool way to see you and your work.
Thanks for making this.

bouquet-of-thorns responds:

Thank you for your comment! Yep when Rubyx is conflicted, the face would continuously change until something happens to finalize a mood. Or if Rubyx is experiencing mixed emotions, a certain few colors will show up together to show some sort of confliction. I've been meaning to do pieces that display this, but I am worried no one will enjoy it

It's a solid piece of occult body horror.
The slime certainly pushes it in some interesting directions especially with how it seems inherent.
The eyes are also suitably autonomous.
Thank you for making this.

ArtHungryDemon responds:

Occult body horror... that's just the word I was lost on!
Thank you for that and I also take it as a big compliment as someone who is in to the occult :'>
Also thank YOU for thanking ME lol

It's interesting, as I feel evening trying to mesh Hal's and Tony's personalities is mentally hard for me.
John Stewart is actually and structural engineer, and it's been commented that all of his constructs have the interior strength of a fully designed object.
But, more so, Hal's very staunchly conservative in many ways, and I know that Tony started the first Marvel Civil War with the latest rendition of the Super Human Registration Act (in the comics), which was obviously an goverment overreach, but I still think Tony's at his core and individualist, where Hal is more of a collectivist.

At this point, I must admit to being a Kyle Ryaner fan, and that I have had trouble enjoying GL comics since Hal came back so I am ignorant of Cruz, and I stepped away from comics shortly before Riri became a character, but on terms of overall design I really think you did well melding an "iron suit" and the GL color scheme.

I think an MCU style in Helmet shot showing a green tactical display would be a very cool follow up for this character.
Thank you for making this.

GreyForrester responds:

Thank you, this is possibly the best feedback I've recieved, so far. I can't take full credit for this image, I commissioned another to draw it.

As for Hal Stark's personality; it, like any other Amalgam would have to be able to drift from one component's character to the other(s).

Really great use of contrast and hard angles.
IT's interesting seeing a group stand out naturally like this.
I mean that you made the environment really different then the group, and considering they are very much so trespassing it visually explains a good depth about them.
I even had fun looking into some of the add details in the back!
Thank you for making this.

TwoSipsofBleach responds:

Thanks! i was worried at first that they would blend in with the background, but i'm glad it reads well

Cool!
It's interesting to think that in the orginal comics the turtles would often just murder people, but I honestly like what they have become over the years.
I think 4 male characters who deeply care and support each other is a good thing to have as a background constant in pop culture.
IDW, a smaller US comic company, is actually doing some gritty TMNT comics, which are occasionally really interesting to look at to just see the stark contrast.
I guess we could also label the turtles as the US's Power Rangers/Super Sentai, as every couple years a fun new version of them.

In case it's fun group shot that really feels true to that Character's personalties and how relaxed they are with each other.
Thank you for making this.

MimiScappini responds:

The comics are so dark but the shows so funny and light (some of them at least)

Thank you!

Man, you gotta love that rubber house style.
I love the fact that Pumpkin feels like Dexter and Didi's pagan cousin form the long and lanky form combined with the gloves.
Does the skull on pumpkin's hat have a name?
I feel with the pointing shape of the hat it looks like a pumpkin seed, so perhaps it name is "sid."
Let us know if the hat has a name already?
I like the demon snarl face you have on the second image, it's extremely emotive.
It feels like pumpkin swooped in to snarl, and it makes me wonder about transformative/floating abilities.
Thank you for making this.

MimiScappini responds:

I looooove rubber hose!!!
I actually got Dexter's gloves for reference in her original design and that she looks like DeeDee too is a bonus(?

I actually have a name for the little skull! I made a draw of that a year ago gonna post it rn.

I was just playing with emotions and she was my ginea-pig(?

Thank YOU for your comments!

Very cool to see the effort you put into the development process.
The striped would have very tough to animate, so I think you made the right choice there.
Also since she is a witch she can always magically dye her hair in a another cartoon if you continue with the character.
The the other color schemes could show up in another short of mirror dimension, or some such.
I must admit you made me think of an interesting idea, which is basically a "projected person. You can only see there body when looking at their hair, which constantly floats where it normally would be on a person, from a head on point of view.
So anytime their arm passes beyond the hair it is not visible, and a hair cut would mean the amount of the person who is visible reduces.
It's slightly odd idea, but I like to think about light and space alot.
Thanks for making this, and for sharing it

MimiScappini responds:

I was also thinking of using those palettes for diferent ocations/scenery but that fact that she could actually dye her hair is awesome idk how I didn't think of that!
Thanks!!

Fun and dynamic!
I really like the contrast of the blue white rabbit on the orange green carrot. made even more striking with the white back ground.
Cute and fun.
Thank you for making this.

ProsciuttoMan responds:

That's mostly pretty spot on. 1 is the radish from the current wall art, 5 is Jerry Jackson, 11 is Steven from Time Fkuc, 12 is Peace Tank, 13 is Clubby Seal, 14 is Strawberry Clock, 16 is Puck from Pucamuc, 18 is the Skull Kid.

So, I must admit I am of two minds on this drawing.
I like it alot, and the chareterization is very strong.
Like the pose, the hair color and cut, and even the facial expersion is all very dynamic and sassy.
Also the gemstones and ecletic armors really remind me in a fond way of CLAMP's MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH.
My trepidation comes from the "absolute territory" or the very odd name for the space of exposed thigh between leggings and bottoms.
She seems like a sassy enough character to enjoy falunting in that way, but in a pratical magic user/armor sense, there is 0% reason to ever have exposed skin, unless it's part of a ritual practice.
Fantasy art across the world since the 60's certain has a history of use "sex sells" and "Chainmail bikini's" and a person exposing their body in way they are comfortable with is totally cool form of self expression, but in terms of partical use, this ain't Magical-OSHA safe.
You did a great job, and I admit to fighting my own ghosts on this issue, but I try to almost see the worst result so that I might be able to prevent it, I guess you have made a compelling effectively enough that I am worried about them getting hurt.
Sorry for blathering on like that, and, really, thank you for making this.

Thundragon responds:

Hi, thank you for the review! Honestly a lot of the inspiration came from Yu Gi Oh charactera and cards but I still remember Rayearth fondly.

Honestly the exposed thighs serve no pracical purpose, a lot of times my design process aims for what looks hotter, but in retrospect extending her suit to cover it all would have been a better idea aesthetically speaking.

Hi, I am a person who loves art, and self-expression. Feel free to message me, especially to anyone seeking feedback, critique, or QA. If I have the time and interest, I will happily deposit my 2 cents.
