You~Got~A~Frog~!
AN quite simple, but truly darling piece.
Honestly I really like the character in general, as the outfit is very rigidly on point, along with how fun the segmented pony tail is.
Her having Heterochromia iridium, and pigment based discromia is quite an interesting composition.
over all I am impressed with ability to render such contrast, especially the bright white high light on a black back ground tying it all together.
Thank you for making this.

Cubesona responds:

Hehey! Thanks for the comment. Considering this was just a simple sketch I did for a patreon, it's really encouraging to hear such kind words, thank you so much!

Hah!
I imagine this guy trying to sneak kegs into places so that the alcohol content in the building will be just high enough to activate his abilities.
This is honestly one of your lower concept characters, but you put alot of detail and obvious effort into making him shine at what he is.
Other variations is proposing a toast and every one getting just tipsy enough to activate his mugs of fury.
Thank you for making this.

jouste responds:

lol I really like that idea. And yeah this guy was drawn on my birthday so I kind of kept it easy to finish so I could get my party on. good eye!

*highfives

Hmmmm.
I can't really tell if the coloration patterns on the green leaves are from the leaves the selves reflecting cascading light, or if it's simple the drying pattern of bay leaves.
I think the unsung heroes of this piece are the bowl/container creating a sharp contrasting barrier with the other MVP of the contrasting deep forest green back ground.
The purple leaf (or tool?) providing the center focus, an excellent contrast, actually give the whole picture a slightly optical appearance, with it being an odd pupil.
Thank you for making this.

Thank you for this complete and unique review. I had never seen such elaborate phrasing be used to describe my work. No problem and I really appreciate your kindness.

It is important to know one's limit, and your certainly set yourself against quite a challenge.
I see some of what you mean about anatomy, but I honestly impressed with your use of a smokey almost dream like quality to make the unnatural seem fitting.
Like the little glints of light and cascading rainbow ribbons definitely give a strong vibe.
The positioning of the arms, and the incredible profile of the face also are quite an achievement.
Thank you for making this.

SpecterWhite responds:

Thank you for the feedback!

Simple and sweet.
I can almost hear reverberations of Earth, Wind & Fire's September playing as small romance blooms.
Good luck with you project, I will be interested to see the results.
Thank you for making this.

SouredApple responds:

If only I could acquire the licensing rights within my budget because you better believe that would be the exact song in this scene! And thank you!!

hmmm, I almost thought this was a hedorah Kaiju-girl.
It is always interesting seeing a cyclopian complexion blush, especially with an abnormal skin tone, and your rendition is fairy cute.
The eye stocks are quite lively in their own right, but I am a little confused by the symbiote-esque material on the fore limbs and clavicle. it being similar color to the hair makes it seem connected to that aspect of this one eyed wonder, but maybe I am reading that wrong.
Thank you for making this.

if you're interested in her species you can read more about her on the Monster Girl Encyclopedia. Just look up Gazer

Howdy howdy howdy!
I have seen you work elsewhere but I am happy to find you post here on NG!
Your style and approach to these myths and legends always impress in detail but also in how approachable they seem.
Like you have pulled some down from the heavens to show all of us.
Even just your strong sense of how to juxtaposition these characters is well crafted.
Thank you for making this.
(I will book mark your web comic too, for when I have some more time)

Shi-Gu responds:

Thank you so much, it makes me really happy to read this!
I've actually been a longer time here on NG than any other site, but it wasn't until very recently that I decided to also post my illustrations here.
I'm glad you like my work!

I like this.
The vaguely Egyptian fashion choice, giving a interesting persona of "servant of Sobek."
Also a crocodile archer seem odd apt in terms of the nature of the two.
A bow can really on be used to send things in one direction in a sudden snap of violence, and that bears similarity to the intense bite strength of a crocodile, accompanied with it's ironically jaw opening muscles.
Some design points of the equipment looking more water resistant might be interesting, but this Croc could be from a purely terrestrial society/species, so no biggie there.
Thank you for making this.

Mancartti responds:

Thank you for your insight. I will be sure to keep it in mind if I touch on this concept more.

Hmmm! Interesting pose.
I really like how you layered the colors, and used some very striking juxtaposition to make the image pop.
Also the bold white on gray back ground is a clean look that I wouldn't normally expect.
As a final note, I like the little Tamagotchi style snake game on their hip.
Thank you for making this.

CezRamirez responds:

thank you!! i tried to pixelize six impalas´ logo for the tamagotchi´s screen but it didnt quite work out haha
