Hah!
Death drill warmers, how wonderfully odd.
She's got a great spirit, and I really enjoy the clever use of a contrasting pick background that works well with her bright dispostion.
Thank you for making this.

I am a sucker for mashups and cover songs.
You very carefully, and lovingly approached each character and found an aspect if their character to make shine in your rendition.
I suspect I could gush for a while, concerning things like your use of shadow, or the dull color tones evoking 1980/1990's anime shows, but I think I have one, much more simple thing to say:
"Thank you for making this."

It is important to know one's limit, and your certainly set yourself against quite a challenge.
I see some of what you mean about anatomy, but I honestly impressed with your use of a smokey almost dream like quality to make the unnatural seem fitting.
Like the little glints of light and cascading rainbow ribbons definitely give a strong vibe.
The positioning of the arms, and the incredible profile of the face also are quite an achievement.
Thank you for making this.

Thank you for the feedback!

What a cacophony of flesh!
It's interesting to see moose like antlers on a wyvern typre of character.
I know that horned dragons a very typical in Asian depictions, but as this is a Gargoyle, the antlers are still very interesting.
Perhaps I would see this resting on the roof of a cathedral in Quebec?
I also love your detailed use of clouds and how imply air currents.
Thank you for making this.

Simple and sweet.
I can almost hear reverberations of Earth, Wind & Fire's September playing as small romance blooms.
Good luck with you project, I will be interested to see the results.
Thank you for making this.

SouredApple responds:

If only I could acquire the licensing rights within my budget because you better believe that would be the exact song in this scene! And thank you!!

hmmm, I almost thought this was a hedorah Kaiju-girl.
It is always interesting seeing a cyclopian complexion blush, especially with an abnormal skin tone, and your rendition is fairy cute.
The eye stocks are quite lively in their own right, but I am a little confused by the symbiote-esque material on the fore limbs and clavicle. it being similar color to the hair makes it seem connected to that aspect of this one eyed wonder, but maybe I am reading that wrong.
Thank you for making this.

if you're interested in her species you can read more about her on the Monster Girl Encyclopedia. Just look up Gazer

I want to make a self insertion joke, but I can't really justify it.
Good luck and have fun with it.
Thank you for making this.

Howdy howdy howdy!
I have seen you work elsewhere but I am happy to find you post here on NG!
Your style and approach to these myths and legends always impress in detail but also in how approachable they seem.
Like you have pulled some down from the heavens to show all of us.
Even just your strong sense of how to juxtaposition these characters is well crafted.
Thank you for making this.
(I will book mark your web comic too, for when I have some more time)

Shi-Gu responds:

Thank you so much, it makes me really happy to read this!
I've actually been a longer time here on NG than any other site, but it wasn't until very recently that I decided to also post my illustrations here.
I'm glad you like my work!

The towers three that where once stretched to infinity's end, now at zenith of the darkest light, they met their end, as the chalice of their light was extinguished forever more.
I really love your work, from the goofy goblins, to these abstract constructs of the blind infinities.
Seeing your work pop up on my feed brings me a lot of happy moments.
Thank you for making this.

Interesting.
It looks a little bit like those AI paintings of animals, but with a bit more manufactured intention.
I like the glitch effect for the most part, but I recently read in passing that certain kind of blurry or shaky looking image actually wind up being funny.
Here that might actually provoke a nervous laugh, but it important to remember that the black and white movies filled with rubber monsters and cheap practical effect where scary to people at the time they initially premiered.
Even further back Nosferatu and Belegosi's Dracula which are hard for many to take seriously where compelling works at the time.
In many way I do think humans would be humans without fear, but how and what we fear shifts.
I certainly like this though, and sorry for getting caught in my own musing.
What types of canines did you use? IT looks a bit like Fox/Coyote/Wolf.
Also if are a fan of eyes I recommend checking out the Evil Eye butterfly species, and Eyespot patterns in general.
Thank you for making this
