You seemed to have a lot of fun playing around with light in this one!
Like the water reflecting on the submerged leg is such a subtle but strong detail.
You also managed to add a strong sense of motion, for something I presume was taken from a still reference, using the turbulence of the water and drops in the air.
In general there is some strong and playful use of liquid and light here!
(I just hope those are beach shoes or else that is a soggy pair of sneakers.)
Thank you for making this.

Ah! Chibi-Ai Lobo is just too much.
I like your take on the other characters as well, but I must say I am not familiar with all of them.
It certainly looks like Damian, and I believe that is probably Arsenal?
I had seen the new Kid Flash, and I was a fan, but if the that is Raven's new outfit, it is quite interesting ( could also be Jinx I suppose?)
The Blondie in the back looks like a Kirby-esqu New Gods type character, but I admit ignorance of them.
It's all very nice.
Thank you for making this.

The suit is certainly on the other boot!
Definitely made me laugh.
Especially since I never really thought of Ridley as one to blush as such.
Thank you for making this.

Hah, that is one hell of a glass jaw!
This kinda reminds me of a very silly early Video Game monster called the Healer.
It was from the game, "Caverns of Freitag," and to use the healer's healing power's you had to chase one down and stand on top of it.
The creature will still attack you, but by restraining it, you slowly drain it's life force into your own.
Quite dark, but I imagine this Lad of Elixir would likely sacrifice himself to be drank by a hero better able to protect the greater good.
It's honestly one of your simpler designs, but it's back story's weight makes up for it.
Thank you for making this.

Quite dis-Orderly!
She's got a quite a distended nature to her.
Legs a little to long to be in proportion, arm gaunt but defined, fingers oddly flexed and nails that are quite impractically lengthy.
Even her skin comes across as have reached a point of "over ripe," and clashes distinctly with her mask and hair.
Thank you for making this.

Anthro-Angler Eh?
Quite interesting, how out of sync this reads.
being an deep sea species, the light source coming from bellow is quite mysterious, but, of course the point of view observer and "Soapy" (I presume that's her name) could actually be diving down, so that feet would be facing the surface, ie light source.
The downward motion would also cause the clothes to position similar to normal gravity, as the fabric is caught by the drag.
.....Ah! sorry.
It's a very cool Character, and I see you have other related pieces, including some skull girl stuff, that I will be sure to check out.
Huh, makes me wonder about a Merfolk fighting game, the low-G/floaty nature of it would be quite interesting.
In any case,
Thank you for making this.

Glad you like it! If it helps to alleviate confusion she doesn't live in the ocean, she lives in the sewer.
Also that fighting game idea could be interesting..

ATA-Boy!
I am a pretty big man of character designs with the pedestrian arms, tiny leg design, and think this a fine entry.
I also appreciate you laying out your creative process, as that can also be uniquely informative.
The mid piece with out pupils has an interesting "ulimted power" vibe, but otherwise I enjoy the detail you captured in the strata of wires wreathing around the mech.
Thank you for making this.

This has an odd combination of Alfonso Ribeiro and Axel Foley energy, but I quite like it.
The coloration also cuts a fine line between "aesthetic vibe" and "80's comic that came with 3D glasses" that is a pleasing dissonance.
I haven't spent much time with recent entries into the Multi-Shellualr Universe, but I think the archetypes of the turtles still hold strong.
Thank you for making this.

Yankee style characters are very cool.
While I am not familiar with the character, I am laid out by the tone you captured, especially the muscle tone.
That arcing swing of sweat on the arm is a clever way of communication the intensity of the motion.
Strong stance, good use of light and shadow, and the barely perceptible red iris cast in shadow is all quite excellent.
If I had one challenge for you, it is to put more love and detail into the great mane of hair.
It's obviously an important part of the characters design and nature, and reads as quite static compared to every other aspect of this piece.
Maybe some note of perspiration in the hair would allow for some simple, but effective detail?
Thank you for making this.

"The anime was inside of you all this time."
This is pretty silly, in a very fun way.
I actually think Undyne with a katana guard eye patch would make alot of in universe sense, especially after she starts dating Alphys.
Like I could see in my mind a scenario where Alphys and Undyne are watching and old samurai flick, and Alphys comments how cool a character with such an eye patch is.
Undyne would take note, and spend a hug amount of time trying to find one in the garbage, and eventaully brute force it, or ask Papyrus for help, and that would be it's own whole ordeal.
Anyways, fun stuff, and nice work.
Thank you for making this.

Yukimura4 responds:

I can totally picture Undyne wearing a cosplay of Date Masamune (Who was basically *THE* one-eye samurai in Japan). Undyne would probably become a fangirl of samurai/japanese culture, until she finds out about sushi Xd

Happy to know you liked the comic, thank you very much for the kind words <3
