Astolfo sure has a hard time of in the fandom.
(pun intended)
It's morally hard for me to comment on another culture's view of "third gender" especially considering the weird side effects western/christian morality has had on Japan over several hundred years.
In any case it's a slightly homophobic joke by western standards, but also in the gay community, it just be like that sometimes, and in cultures where the morals around sex are very different, it just be that way sometimes.
There's also just the fact that this just how alot of the Japanese fanworks approach the character as well.
Kinda like how when Deathnote was still being released, and the anime adaptation came out the doujin community did alot of yaoi of the period where Light and L where handcuffed at all times.
It's a good chuckle, you timed out the joke well, it could certainly be better, but serves a good little joke.
Thanks for making this.

As a fandom work I find this hard to comment on.
Like for your audience, and the audience of the fandom this is probably very legit.
It's nice seeing people have passion, and you definitely made some cool choices with presentation.
The shark pope was pretty funny visually, and you used some great transitions and animation tricks to make it flow.
Like the not having to draw the shark because it was being held to the sun made sense in the shot, with nice references to fishing and such, but also saved you alot of detail work
Keep working at it, and thanks for making this.

You did really well!
You cued up the battle music, and the Jolteon's scream so perfectly, and you very effectively emulated the very early in games art of Pokemon.
I remember being disappointed by the differences in the concept art in my game guide,
(I was like 8 and it was my first real RPG when red and blue came out, so I don't see any shame in having bought a guide, especially considering online guides where still kinda a wild west.)
But everything form the weird landscape proportions and the over all tone is very classic Blue/Red/Yellow versions.
I really loved Gary's and Jolteon's expressions of horror, but I see you using the expected surprise Pichachu meme face, and it got me chuckling.
It's very good, I would just want more.
Thanks for making this.

kyaoni responds:

!! oh wow, thank you!! <3 ;D
aw that sucks; i've never really had the opportunity to see the game guides from back then myself, but yeah that's a bummer--the artstyle's really changed a lot
I was kinda confused when i was looking up references for gary and red(? im pretty sure the protag's name is red not ashe in the red/blue/yellow games), and gary had 3 different shades of hair color; i just went with the first original artwork.

hehe the pikachu suggestion was from a friend of mine; originally it was pikachu who was gonna be yeeted, but I figured that would be painful, and as my friend pointed out, pikachu doesn't like being in the ball in the first place ;;

I'll probably make more and longer animations sometime in the future, when I'm not stuck in college anymore; for now, I'm gonna devote more time to writing the story for my game c;

Oh man.
Back at it again with this crazy good shit.
Watching your cartoons is like hanging out with that one cousins who 80% time is legit and the 20% just does something bat shit.
You always know the trouble will show up eventually, but you hang out cause they are family.
It's not even that you push the envelope, it that you narrate and write a very rude note, fold it nicely, stuff it in an envelope, lick the envelope a little too long, seal it by smashing it repeatedly, then you push it across the table with out breaking eye contact.
It's certainly rude, but done so masterfully, I open the envelope and read the note you just narrated, every time.
Thank for making this.

Solid.
I think these kind of arguments come up way to often in life, and people can be kinda thoughtless in their demands.
I think music is a funny touch for building tension.
Without the music it's just a people yelling at each other.
You played on my expectations well as I had assumed he was simply going to eat the whole thing, and the allergic reaction is still a realistic outcome, and a good ending.
Thanks for making this.
(Bonus fact: You have to use canned or preserved pineapple in jello, because the enzymes are so strong in fresh pineapple that they will eat through jello, and keep it from setting. )

This is fantastically weird and accurately menacing.
The photo realistic heads are wonderfully creepy little nut crackers.
Also, the sound design just leaves an odd sense of tension.
Thank you for making this.

Furious-Monkey responds:

"Creepy little nut crackers" -hahah, I love that. I hadn't thought about their mouths that way but it's a perfect description. I may borrow that phrase next time I'm trying to describe these animations. Thank you for the comment!

It's been really cute watching the moonmin fandom develop.
It's a very odd comic by most american standards, and even the cartoon does not translate that well to the US audience, but it is a real gem.
This was kinda nice over the garden wall rendition of moonmin lore, and you did well with it.
I thinking more time you would certainly been able to tighten up the animation, but you really stuck with illustrating the narrative, and clearly pushed yourself.
You didn't use any repeating animation, and the visuals, while simple, where of consistent quality, and where engaging.
I really liked the campfire moonmin.
You have made something really fun an cute, and I am really hope to see more from you.
Thank you for making this.

Sweatermaster responds:

This means the absolute world to me, this is actually the most sincere comment I have ever gotten--- Thank you so much for your kind words and even for your advice!!! I hope to get better!!

It's nice to see your sticking with it!
You are developing a cute companionship here, and I am excited to see where you build it.
May try eperimenting with some sounds, even just public domain stuff.
Also developing the characters can be good content to.
Maybe self introduction videos with a list and a simple dance loop?
Like taking the "Monty Python and the Holy Grail: 3 Questions" scene as inspiration and having them answer question to win a quest or a tavern bet, or just something to flesh them out.
Thank you for making this

Atastic responds:

Thank you! Really helps with the feedback. The thing is that the series has already been animated and has all been uploaded on my Twitter page. Im mostly posting them here so i could get more viewship and feedback. ^^

But comments like this really helps out for the future, and im grateful for the feedback!

It's very impressive thinking about what else was being made 10 years ago.
The strong visuals, and amazing sound design still hold up, and the darkness contrasting scene is on the same level as some of the best fight scene in Samurai Jack.
It's hard to be negative about this, as it really was above standard when it came out, and still is an incredible piece for how small the team was, by today's standards.
Thank you for making this.

So, this clearly in the Mei-Mei territory so, I am just having fun with it.
I really enjoyed the Scooby is a god meme from a bit back, and I think linking the fact they where both huge on Cartoon Network at that time makes some sense comedicaly.
I definetly think that era scooby do's limit break was food, and so I could see him throw fist for it, but he did often just run away too.
It was fun to watch.
Thank you for making this.

theFierceKid responds:

Thank you. The idea was not mine, I must say. It was this very funny meme of an edit of Shaggy vs. Goku, for which I made audio, then I animated this shortly afterwards.
