A little to real.
A very fun and bombastic take on work to debt oligarchy.
I liked your color choices, and your overall commitment to "show don't tell," and you really conveyed just about everything we would need to know about the character and the world in very organically presented.
Some of the hard cuts made following the story a little tough, but the flow kept that being to much of an issue.
I also thought the voice lines in the credit where a perfect cherry on top for this.
Thank you for making this.

A solid FLCL vibe with tone of Scott Pilgrim, very nice.
I am interested to see how the game develops, but at the moment I like your very direct line work, and muted color pallet.
Those two details can lead to very dynamic and stylish characters, and the giant jacket on one of them was a hoot.
I went ahead and put this on my wishlist on steam, so please keep it up.
Thank you for making this.

Hmmm, interesting!
I know showreels are supposed to be tight and focused, but maybe a few notes on the dates of release, or development would give more of a sense of growth/development.
It totally gets eyes on your work, but I personally enjoy it when I get some sense of the creators process, methods, or thoughts on their work.
Thank you for making this.

Thanks for watching and rating it highly :)
Perhaps I'll do that on the next showreel after a few years.

Man, clock crew keeps on ticking.
Seriously though this was actually a really fun series of transitions, a veritable slip and slide covered in koolaid of busting through 4th walls.
I also checked a moment ago, and B came out in 2001, wich means, of course, y'all are rapidly approaching your 20th B-day, and I hope you all have a great time with it.
Thank you for making this.

PannacottaClock responds:

I'm glad it was fun that's the one thing it tries to be

Very dramatic.
I watched this twice, and I had some trouble understanding the narrative, but stylistically this is gorgeous.
It reminds me alot of another creator, Vinnie Veritas, who did some really interest flash work back in the day, and I think you might appreciate there style.
Over all, I feel like you made some very strong choices in camera angle and transitions, and I really like how you composited the cityscape from real buildings.
Thank you for making this.

MarcoCardenas responds:

Thanks for the feedback!, I'll keep that for future projects, and I'll take a look at Vinnie.

A nice stylistic throwback.
I thought the animation was fluid and the transitions, especially the pen v. cigarette moment, where very cool.
I really enjoyed the xylophonic post man, and the mountain of broken drums.
I also think sound design was minimal put focused, and really added to the animation in a skillful way.

That's a solid riff.
I enjoyed the puppet take down of the old Walt Disney Show, and the parody remix of American Dad was solid.
I think it kinda interesting that AD's intro worked so well for a villain song, as it's is originally slightly authoritarian and vain, so it's cool to see you all bring that to head here.
Thank you for making this.

I don't know much about line.
But those are some cute stickers, and I figure since that app is not always easy to get access to, there is no reason to knock you for showing off a bit.
A artist's note might make it a little bit more clear what you intentions are though.
Thank you for making this.

AiDarrian responds:

Thank you!
Line is an app where you can talk to friends and they have a store where you can buy stickers to send to them through messages.
They let people make they’re own stickers and you can upload to the store (after they approve them of course)
I make no money from it even though you can buy them, but I didn’t want them to go to complete waste and made this video. So I shall add a better description! Thank you for the feedback by the way! 😌

I really like your candor.
You go through some issues that are causing people a lot of stress in a fun and light hearted way, with out demeaning or down playing the problems we are facing.
I also liked you visual humor, and ability to mock yourself to put others at ease.
Thank you for making this.

MrBlueBowtie responds:

Hello there !
Thank you very much for putting this very kind review
And I'm really happy that you liked this video and it was able to improve your day even in the slightest bit

I think this a solid starting space.
I really love to know more about the character, who I thought was nicely designed btw, and where you are going with this.
I the woods in stories and life are an excellent setting for a little bit of the mystic.
Thank you for making this.
