When I noticed the color change, I felt that dopamie hit.
The high contrast composition of the black negative space background and warm tones you used on the figure in the fore ground make a great frame/focus for the piece.
Her outfit is very cute, and seasonally appropriate for Hydrangea, and the warm yellow does well with the floral pink/purple/blue.
I was deeply satisfied by the the way you transitioned through the pink purple blue as well, as they all stuck with a range that I thought was appropriate for the flora, and I especially appreciated seeing the pupils and the nails changed as well.
Final thoughts, I think pose, especially the over the shoulder glance really emphasizes what you did with the eyes and her hair in general and I think it has a nice feeling of summer lounging to it.
Thank you for making this.

Oddly enough, this does make me smile.
Your proficiency in the two panel buildup/payoff formula holds true.
In this and in many of your works you show a sense of humor that has a great deal of warmth in how glib it is, and it makes me feel you really enjoy your craft.
Thank you for making this.

the calm before the storm, the tension in the air, a comfort before a crash.
I really like the two panel narrative you set up here, of something so large and undeniable, and how you sometimes can only face it.
I also think the cascading and layered grays in the first panel are a great juxtaposition of the really tight focus and high contrast of the second.
Thank you for making this.

Thank you! It's for a comic

wow!
I like the lisa frank does black light art vibes of this.
Your choices of what to highlight on the outfits along with the dot print shading and the in pallet reflective sheen are all quite neat, and make the piece so darn dynamic.
Thank you for making this.

Fun!
This might sound odd, but I like the fact the characters remind me a bit of Korra and Asami from Avatar, but also that the armor is similar to how 80's anime would render western fantasy armor, like record of lotus war/slayers.
Also I think the flater colors with points of shaded definition works quite well, and is nicely stylish.
Thank you for making this!

Thank you and I appreciate it! I'm glad you noticed that Korra color scheme to because I saw it right away when I was playing with the colors to see what worked best with Aleyamehu's skin tone.

I like how you described that, as that's a bit more in-depth than my going as far as the RoLW aesthetic. For that arc, I suppose, of the story I get those retro fantasy anime vibes and went with simpler designs. There's a bit of Nausica in there too, though was that late 70s or early 80s?

Cool design!
It's a little hard to tell if but it seems like she is waring an orange body suit, then a laced bikini then a cropp hoodie and 1 legging and 6% of a pair of pants, and it all works nicely because it gives her a sense of a person deeply familiar with fashion/sewing/thread.
Like even her mechanized rabbit ears give the sense of fabric shears.
I thinking you subverted the challenge quite nicely.

Not sure I understand the context but i got a chuckle.
Also the "flower" design is fun, and i like the love you put into the dandelion leaves, as they are quite authentic.
Thank you for making this.

Love the mixing of detail and low poly, and you really went hard on some the reflections of light and the lay of the shadows.
Thanks you for making this

how dare you make something this terrifying.
The piece has a kinda uncanny valley/bizarre clay animation primal fear response for me, and still it[s hard to look away.
I like the simple way you rendered the leaves, it kinda feeds into the camoflauge vibes, and the shadowy maw is quite striking in it's sharpness.
Your supernatural/horror pieces really hit home for me, looking forward to more.
Thank you for making this

Ah you mad lad.
This is such an incredibly funny piece to me because of the context of Olympia, and it's controversy in it's own time, and it feels like it's drawing lines from that to modern day sex worker rights issues, all while being an amazing shit post in modern meme standards.
Also deeply respect/enjoy how well you got the charcoal to work for you, and what you choose to have detailed, like the icons and more abstract in natural curves.
Thank you for making this.
