heh
I like the absurdity of the visual, but also how with your farming in the comments, it kinda seems like "they" can on "control us" if we choose to move the way we are told to.
The piece reminds me of two art projects one by Håkon Anton Fagarås, who developed the skill to carve realistically fluffy looking pillows, from solid marbel.
The other is a series of pieces by an Athens based artist, Katerina Kamprani, called the "The Uncomfortable" is a collection of deliberately inconvenient everyday objects.
Both series have a similar bait and switch of expectations in a familiar vibe to some of the art you make.
In any case, Thank you for making this.

I saw the link you sent me and I found it very interesting! Thank you! In fact, the work itself unfortunately does not understand much but the message is fortunately clear.

Great work.
I love the high contrast, and the choice of sickly radioactive green, and the pooling blood red.
It should not, but I can't help imagining the train playing this song;

but yeah, great work, and I wanted to ask what inspired it?
In any case,
Thank you for making this.

kaiakairos responds:

nothing really inspired this one directly, although while making it I was thinkin about that scene at the end of half life 2 when the gman walks through that white door.
As for my psychedelia type art in general, I find a lot of my inspiration from my own experience (if u catch my drift) and from music like Tool, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Pink Floyd, Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin. There's quite a lot more but those are some of the more well-known examples I can give.

Cute!
I like your balance of simplifying some details like the face and hair, and emphasizing the jacket with detail.
The pallet is also interesting, I would not call it muted, or washed out, but what would you call it?
I also like how the hair and the abstract orange blobs work well to frame the focus.
Thank you for making this.

Oooooh, resplendent.
The poise of the figure is amazing, pose is an odd combination of the relaxation on sees in a person in total control, but within a rigidity like marble around them.
The pallet's play of white, peach, blue and gold id inserting, because it is a pallet that is often used to convey warmth, care and tenderness, and the piece abandons that in the tone of the model, and the ferocity of architecture they place themself on.
All that to say, I think you did really well here.
Thank you for making this.

Thank you very much for such an in-depth comment!! Greatly appreciated <3

I love the thought and care put into this piece.
The sense of scale, and time is really well conveyed by the doors and windows, and how the other vehicles are so dwarfed but the grown over, entombed, and rusted husk of a war long distant.
The cliff sheer confused me, and I couldn't quite tell if the barrel was sticking over a sheer and sudden cliff, or if was a cross section showing the cannon's presence that would be hidden otherwise.
I like the thought of the barrel having use as a root cellar, or perhaps where they age wine, the "barrel barrel."
Anyways, beautiful work, it tell quite a story without a word.
Thank you for making this.

This is quite lovely.
I like how it's a really nice mix of art nouveau, 90s school supplies, and simple icons like that of a sailor's tattoos.
Also the lovey pallet dominated by blues and it's hues helps carry the sense of water, and the sea, as a theme.
Thank you for making this.

And thank YOU for replying :)

Ooooh.
I like how you caught a sense of depth and motion all in one figure.
The body is obviously tensed to swing in with the right hand's knife, and the flakes of cloth help build the depth in a neat way.
All in all it seems very tricky to figure out where in the field of depth to place the fore and aft arms and legs in a way that looks natural, and you did a great job keeping it cohesive.
Thank you for making this

Dreamy.
I like what you have done here, has a touch of iconography, and the hair has an almost dark halo of illumination.
The hands are quite neat, as well as the detail of the collar bone and sternum.
thank you for making this.

TEETHFLAVOURED responds:

this is a very beautiful compliment, i'm gonna think about this for a while. thank you so much! I'm glad you like it, it means alot <:)

Howdy pilgrim!
I appreciate the innate chaos of this deeply.
The mixed media aspect has some odd 90s vibe, and it quite good.
thank you for making this.

I always appreciate seeing what your non conventional family is up to.
Now that you point it out, I am not sure I have seen you work with long hair on your characters that often, so if this is an new artistic pursuit for you, I wish you luck and perseverance.
To keep you company on that journey, or just for a laugh, this piece reminded me of this song;
