So, I getting what your saying but I basically disagree.
Loony Tunes and Mickey Mouse, as described by their original artists/market they where sold into fall more under the "Funny Animals" genre, which while it may make references to adult topics and romance, it made with the explicit intent to appear chaste, and marketable to all ages.
Imposing the "furry" tag, which I feel is an explicitly sexual tag in terms of use and public perception, on to artwork that is created without that intention is ignoring the artistic intent.
Even the movie that is sometimes called the first general release piece of furry art, fritz the cat, was a parody of the chastity of the funny animals genre. and in that sense is a much more a funny animals film by that motivation of critiquing the genre.
I think people who enjoy the Furry genre are well within their right to do so, and heck it's clear many artists in the Fun Animal category are aware of the sexual allure of some of their characters, if just as piece of in office humor (see the behind the scenes note by WB on lola bunny concept art from the original space jam making it clear that it was outside the lines of appropriate are.)
Even further pushing against your idea that funny animals are innately furry content was the movement within the fuzzy art community to be careful with distributing adult content related to the then upcoming Zootopia movie, to avoid exposing minors to inappropriate content.
I do think that furies get a lot of inappropriate abuse for a relatively innocent indulgence, and I am not here to kink shame that, but I think it's disrespectful to ignore the artistic intent of funny animal creators, especially when there are very talented artist that make their own adult intended furry content.
I don't expect this to change your mind, and I figure you get some really unkind comments and hate that inspired your to make this opinion known, but I can't personally agree with the premise that "humanized animals = furry" and see it as more of a vendiagram of some humanized animals being "funny animal" content, and some being "furry content" and some can be both, but to say they are all one in the same is revisionism.
Thanks for making this.
