It makes me wonder if one could Frankenstein some pony parts on a spud, by way of mr potato head sensibilities.

Hmmmm!
I like how reductionist this piece is, especially compared to the reference.
The orange background and blue car in the fore ground also have a sympathetic contrast to her blue hair and peachy skin and I think it works quite well.
Also the way you detailed the outfit reminds me of conceptual sketches I have seen from fashion designers, so I think that worked quite well for the subject matter.

Hmmm.
They seems to have attributes from mixed sources, especially the mountain goats style horns with battish/draconic wings, so perhaps a name that reflects that;
How about Chimeron.
it also fits because the orginal chimera is often shown being slain with a stab to it's gut, similar to the wound on the center picture in your work.

[King and Queen]

This is very cool.
It has a very "ghost of Christmas present" vibe in the design, especially with the odd bits of foliage here and there.
The gray orange green on black is also quite eye catch pallet that feels subdued but still pops.
